2 i. Helen² Stewart was born c1696. She married Gilbert Elliot 4/08/1718. Gilbert was born January 1693. Gilbert was the son of Sir Gilbert Elliot and Jean Carre. Gilbert died 16/04/1766 in Minto, Roxburghshire, at 73 years of age. His body was interred 22/04/1766 in Minto Kirkyard, Minto. He was baptized in Edinburgh on 30/01/1693. Gilbert Acceded 1/05/1718.
