2. Humphrey² Vernon (Sir Henry¹) was born in Tong, Salop, England. 1463. Humphrey died 1542 at 79 years of age.

He married Alice Ludlow 1493. Alice was the daughter of Sir John Ludlow and Elizabeth Grey. Alice died 1531. 3rd son, died in 1542

Humphrey Vernon and Alice Ludlow had the following children:

+ 14 i. George³ Vernon.

+ 15 ii. Thomas Vernon.
