7. George⁵ Prentice (James⁴, James³, John², Thomas¹) was born 1789. George died 1830 in Bridgetown, Barbados, at 41 years of age. His body was interred 1830 in Bridgetown, Barbados.

He married Eliza Jane Kidd in Jonesborough Barracks, 20/05/1814. Married by Reverend A. Kidd.

Eliza was born 1787. Eliza was the daughter of Archibald Kidd and Bridget Arbuthnot. Eliza died 05/03/1845 in Armagh, at 57 years of age. Her body was interred 1845 in St. Marks Church, Armagh.

George Prentice and Eliza Jane Kidd had the following children:

13 ii. Catherine Anne Prentice was born in Newry, County Armagh 30/06/1817. Catherine died 1900 at 83 years of age. She married Joseph Edward Addison in St. Marks Church, Armagh, 27/12/1848. Married by the Reverend Alexander Irwin. Baptised by the Reverend A. Kidd.

Georgina Balfour c1875.

14 iii. Georgina Prentice was born in Ireland 12/08/1819. Georgina died 16/12/1888 at 69 years of age. Her body was interred 1888 Woking Necropolis. She married twice. She married Edward Anderson in St. Marks Church, Armagh, 1/10/1846. Married by the Reverend Stephen Radcliffe Died between 1846 and 1856.

She married Thomas Graham Balfour in St. Gabriels, Pimlico, London, 31/07/1856. Thomas was born in Edinburgh 18/03/1813. Thomas was the son of John Balfour and Helen Buchanan. Thomas died 17/01/1891 in Coombe Lodge, Inner Park Road, Wandsworth, at 77 years of age. His body was interred 1891 Woking Necropolis. Thomas served in the military Army, 1836. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Croydon Barrack, Croydon, Surrey, 1841. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Royal Military Asylum for Chil, 30/03/1851. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in 10 Sumner Place, Kensington, London. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 10 Sumner Place, Kensington, London.
