2. Reverend Thomas2 Troughear (Leonard1) was born 6/09/1681. Thomas died 1762 at 80 years of age. His body was interred 15/11/1762 in Northwood, Isle of Wight.
He married Elizabeth Holmes in Thorley, Isle of Wight, 1724. Elizabeth was born 1696. Elizabeth was the daughter of Colonel Henry Holmes and Mary Holmes. Elizabeth died 1788 at 92 years of age. Her body was interred 28/01/1788 in Northwood, Isle of Wight. She was baptized 25/05/1696.

Henry3 Troughear was born 1725. Henry died 1752 in Ireland, at 27
years of age. He was baptized 13/06/1725. Henry, who died a captain in the army in Ireland in Irwin's regiment in 1752 or possibly
1749.

Mary Troughear was born 13/07/1726. Mary died 1768 at 41 years of age. She married
Benjamin Leigh 14/09/1748. Benjamin signed a marriage settlement with Mary Troughear 08/09/1748. (See Benjamin Leigh for the continuation of this line.)
Mary signed a marriage settlement with Benjamin Leigh 08/09/1748. Death date also found as 1798.

Thomas Troughear was born 1728. Thomas died 1762 in Siege of Havana, at 34 years of age. Lieutenant
Governor of the Isle of Wight, Colonel in the army, MP. Killed at seige of Havannah. Died without issue.

Lieutenant Robert Troughear RN was born 2/03/1730. Robert died 28/10/1748 in HMS Lenox, Havana, at 18
years of age. Killed in action off Havana 1748.
