The Reverend William Rashleigh, rector of St. George's, Canterbury, has been appointed by the Bishop of Rochester to the vicarage of Horton Kirby, Kent. Mr. Rashleigh is the old Oxford and Kent cricketer and Rugby "Blue". His great-uncle, the Reverend George Rashleigh, held the living from 1818 to 1874, and his uncle, the Reverend H. B. Rashleigh, held it from 1874 till his death last month, having before that been curate of the parish for 30 years. The vicar was formerly the patron of the benefice.
