Thomas Sayle had the following children:

2 i. Mary Dorothy² Sayle was born in Yorkshire c1811. She married Edward Waud 30/06/1833. Edward was born in York, Yorkshire 10/04/1806. Edward was the son of Samuel Wilkes Waud and Ellen Hodgson. Edward died 23/12/1885 at 79 years of age. His body was interred 31/12/1885 in North Chapel, Whitkirk Church. He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Park Row, Leeds, Yorkshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in Manston Hall, Seacroft, Yorkshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in Manston Hall, Seacroft, Yorkshire. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Park Row, Leeds, Yorkshire, 1841.

3 ii. Olivia Sayle was born in Wentbridge, Yorkshire 1817. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Manston Hall, Seacroft, Yorkshire, 1861.
