He was listed as a resident in the census report in Clay Lane, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, 1841. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in The Elms, Clay Lane, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. Married to Laura E. A. b c. 1840 in Stoke Fleming, Devon.

1848, his grandmother's will: To my grandchild ABRAM CRESWICKE RAWLINSON (the son of my aforesaid Son Abram Lindow Rawlinson) the following books (vi..) Old England in folio and the ?? Encyclopedia and Supplement. And to each of my grandchildren (vi??) Anna Eudocia Rawlinson and Abram Creswicke Rawlinson, (children of my said son Abram Lindow Rawlinson), Eudocia Maria Brooke Smith (daughter of the said Brooke Smith and my said daughter Maria), Edward Cuthbert Brooke Rawlinson (son of my said son Edward Augustus Rawlinson) and Alice Georgiana Rawlinson and George Ernest Rawlinson (children of my said Son George Rawlinson) the sum of one hundred pounds.
