11. Edward Augustus3 Rawlinson (Abram Tyzack2, Henry1) was born in Chadlington, Oxfordshire 28 September 1815. Edward died 14 March 1859 at 43 years of age.

He married Susanna Jane Sharpe in Westbury on Trym, Gloucester, 11 August 1841. Susanna was born in Hartlepool, Oxfordshire c1817. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 5 Oriel Terrace, Weston Super Mare, Somerset, 1851.

He was listed as a resident in the census report in Chadlington East, Oxfordshire, 1841. He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in 5 Oriel Terrace, Weston Super Mare, Somerset. 1848: his mother's will: To my dear son EDWARD AUGUSTUS RAWLINSON two cut glass Cruets silver mounted for vinegar and oil, one cut Glass Basin and Stand silver mounted with pierced ladle, two silver pots for pepper and mustard with ladles, two ??, one small silver teapot, one Marrow spoon, one pair of Asparagus tongs, two pairs of plated bottlestands and one pair of ?? plated Candlesticks.

To my said Son Edward Augustus RAWLINSON an Indian tea poy and the following books (vid..) a Quarto Scrapbook National Gallery of portraits and Gilbert's Atlas.

To the said Abram Lindow Rawlinson and Brooke Smith and Henry William Lindow the like sum of one thousand pounds in trust for my said Son Edward Augustus Rawlinson for his life and after his decease to his Son the said Edward Cuthbert Brooke Rawlinson if then living ot otherwise to any other child or children (and if more than one equally share and share alike) of my said Son Edward Augustus Rawlinson or their respective issue and in default thereof to the next of kin of my said Son Edward Augustus Rawlinson.

19 July 1859: Whereas by my said will I have bequeathed to or for the benefit of my Son Edward Augustus the sum of one thousand pounds and whereas my said Son Edward Augustus has since died now therefore I hereby revoke the said legacy of one thousand pounds bequeathed to him or for his benefit by my said will and instead thereof I bequeath the sum of one thousand pounds Sterling unto my Son Abram Lindow Rawlinson , my son in law Brooke Smith and my nephew Henry William Lindow (the trustees named in my said will) in trust to invest the same on Government or real or leasehold securities and to pay the annual interest thereof unto my daughter in law Susan Jane the Widow of my said Son Edward Augustus for her life and after her decease in trust to pay or transfer the principal sum and the securities on which the sum may be invested unto the first son of my son George who shall attain the age of twenty-one years but if there shall be no Son of my said Son George who shall attain the age of twenty one years thenunto the oldest daughter of my said Son George who shall attain the said age and I declare that all powers to ?? ?? and appoint ?? Trustees and to apply the principal or interest of legacies for the maintenance, education, or advancement in life of the persons presumptively entitled thereto during their respective minorities shall apply to the said sum of one thousand pounds hereby bequeathed and to the trustees thereof as if such powers had been reinserted herein and in all other aspects I confirm my said will.
