4. Henry3 Vernon (George2, Henry1) was born c1588. Henry died 5/01/1657 at 68 years of age. His body was interred 1657 in Farnham, Surrey.
He married Jane Winter. Jane was the daughter of John Winter. Her body was interred in Farnham, Surrey.
He made a will 19/04/1656. Henry's will was probated 2/03/1657. Of Harleston and of Farnham, Surrey. Had Rose and Lettice from a second marriage. Inherited the Manor of Farnham from his uncle, Sir Thomas White, in 1640.

Near this place is interred Henry Vernon of Farnham, son of George Vernon of Harleston in the county of Stafford Esq who was the son of Henry Vernon of Hodnet and Tongenstle in the county of Salop. First named Henry left three sons George, Thomas and Walter and four daughters Mary, Matilda Rose and Letitia. George Vernon only son of Sir George Vernon above mentioned set up this monument in memory of his ancestors and his dear wife Elizabeth only child of Ralph Claxton of Pulham in Norfolk Esq who was buried here the 14 June 1725.
He was presented a morning cap on 21 December 1648 by Charles I, who stayed with the family in Farnham on his way to the tower for executioin. The cap now belongs to the Holmes à Court family and can be found in The Museum of Farnham.
