1. Hugh¹ Montgomery 7th Earl of Eglinton was born 1613. Hugh died 1669 at 56 years of age.

Hugh Montgomery 7th Earl of Eglinton had the following child:

2 i. Lady Christian² Montgomery. She married John Elphinstone 4th Lord Balmerino 16/02/1672. John was born in Edinburgh 26/12/1652. John was the son of John Elphinstone 3rd Lord Balmerino and Lady Margaret Campbell. John died 13/05/1736 in Leith, Midlothian, at 83 years of age.
