Henry Leslie Prentice

8. Henry Leslie⁵ Prentice (James⁴, James³, John², Thomas¹) was born 1795. Henry died 1869 at 74 years of age. His body was interred 1869 in Caledon, County Armagh.

He married Anne Dobbin 2/08/1828. Anne was born 1798. Anne was the daughter of Thomas Dobbin and Rhoda Brown. Anne died 1863 at 65 years of age.

Leonard was born in Dublin, Ireland c1825. Leonard was the son of Henry Daniel Brooke and Lucinda Dobbin. Leonard died 1885 at 60 years of age. His body was interred 1885 in Flagbrick Hill Cemetary, Birkenhead, Cheshire. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Clifton Park, Tranmere, Cheshire, 31/03/1851. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 56 Park Road South, Birkenhead, Cheshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in 56 Park Road South, Birkenhead, Cheshire. 16 ii. Isabella Prentice was born 1830. Isabella died 1902 at 72 years of age. She married Canon William Armstrong.

17 iii. Lucinda Prentice was born 1831. Lucinda died 1912 at 81 years of age.

18 iv. Annie Prentice was born 1833. Annie died 1922 at 89 years of age. She married Major General Arthur Thomas Moore. Arthur was born 1830. Arthur died 25/04/1913 in Dublin, Ireland, at 82 years of age. He was awarded the Victoria Cross on 8/02/1857 for his gallantry in riding through a Persian square at the battle of Khoosab. 19 v. Henry Prentice was born 1837. Henry died 1920 at 83 years of age. 3 sons, 1 daughter.

21 vii. Dupré Prentice was born 1841. Dupré died c1857 at 16 years of age.
