7 iv. David Melville. Married in 1575.

8 v. Barbara Melville was born c1557. She married James Balfour 1575. James was born c1543. James was the son of David Balfour and Katherine Abercrombie. James died 1613 at 70 years of age. (See James Balfour for the continuation of this line.)
