1. Lieutenant General William¹ Ponsonby was born 1772. William died 18/06/1815 at the Battle of Waterloo, at 42 years of age. His body was interred July 1815 in St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington.

He married Georgina FitzRoy 26/01/1807. Georgina died 06/02/1836.

Lieutenant General William Ponsonby and Georgina FitzRoy had the following child:

2 i. Frances Isabella² Ponsonby was born c1812. Frances died 26/07/1845 in Newton Abbot, Devon, at 33 years of age. Her body was interred 1845 in Latton Church, Wiltshire. She married Reverend Hyde Wyndham Beadon 22/01/1840. Hyde was born in Wells, Somerset 01/05/1812. Hyde was the son of Richard Beadon and Annabella à Court. Hyde died 1891 in Latton, Wiltshire, at 79 years of age. He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in The Vicarage, Latton, Wiltshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in The Vicarage, Latton, Wiltshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in Vicarage House, Latton, Wiltshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in The Vicarage, Latton, Wiltshire. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in The Vicarage, Latton, Wiltshire.
