3. James² Pither (Mr.¹) was born Circ. 1777. James died 19/02/1843 at 65 years of age. His body was interred 27/02/1843 in Berkshire.

He married an unknown person.

He made a will 21/11/1840. James's will was probated in London, 12/04/1843. Had elder brother William . Born c. 1773, d 29/02/1844 at 71 buried in Sunninghill. Had issue Mary, d 23/03/1842 at 36 buried in Sunninghill. Esther, d 6/02/1865 at 54 buried in Sunninghill.

Married to Ann who died 24/01/1838 aged 59 so born c. 1779

Having found James Pithers will, I have changed the children to the one's reflected in the will, ie Ann, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, William and James. Have found George mentioned as an executor.

The original children I had were Esther Ann, Dorothea, Thomas, George and William, so I'm not sure where they fit in. Esther Ann and Dorothea ran the postoffice in Ascot.

James Pither had the following children:

6 i. Mary Ann³ Pither. Mary died.⁽²⁰⁾

7 ii. Ann Pither.

8 iii. James Pither.

9 iv. Elizabeth Pither.

+ 10 v. William Pither was born 1806.

+ 11 vi. George Pither was born c 1809.

12 vii. Thomas Pither was born c1830. Thomas died 20/03/1840 at 9 years of age. Died aged 10 years. Buried in Sunninghill Parish Church.
