He married Grace Holmes. Grace was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Holmes and Anne Gibbons. Of Mountnorth, Co. Cork, Ireland. Colonel of a troop of horse in King William's regiment at the battle of the Boyne.

Nicholas Lysaght and Grace Holmes had the following children:

3 ii. Anne Lysaght. She married Henry Holmes. Henry was born 1703. Henry was the son of Colonel Henry Holmes and Mary Holmes. His body was interred 16/08/1762 in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. He was baptized in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, 28/02/1703.

4 iii. Mary Lysaght. She married Beverly Usher. i0 Knight of the Shire for Co. Waterford, Ireland.

5 iv. Nicholas Lysaght.

6 v. Henry Lysaght.

7 vi. James Lysaght.

8 vii. Arthur Lysaght.
