2. Simon² Harcourt 1st Viscount Harcourt (Sir Philip¹) was born c1661. Simon died 29/07/1727 in Harcourt House, Cavendish Square, London, at 66 years of age.

He married three times. He married Rebecca Clarke 18/10/1680. Rebecca was the daughter of Thomas Clarke. Rebecca died 1687. Her body was interred 16/05/1687. He married Elizabeth Spencer c1695. Elizabeth was born 1658. Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard Spencer. Elizabeth died 16/06/1724 at 65 years of age. He married Elizabeth Vernon 30/09/1724. Elizabeth was born c1678. Elizabeth was the daughter of Sir Thomas Vernon and Anne Weston. Married secondly to Viscount Simon Harcourt, sometime Lord High Chancellor of England.

of Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire. MP for Abingdon. Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain. Had three sons and two daughters with Rebecca Clarke. No children with Elizabeth Spencer.
