He married Alice Orange. Alice died c1560. MP Poole 1547. Also had two daughters.

John Hanham and Alice Orange had the following children:

8 ii. Richard Hanham. Richard died 1/11/1572. Married Bridget, dau of Sir John Newton, of Barrs Court, Glos, and died, leaving:

John; died 29 Oct 1579 aged 13

Anne; married by 15 June 1582 Sir Walter Vaughan, of Falstone, Wilts, and died by 1593, leaving issue.
