14. Thomas⁵ Hanham (Thomas⁴, John³, Richard², William¹) was born 1576. Thomas died 1/08/1652 at 75 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Broughton 1610. Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert Broughton.

Sea-captain, co-cdr voyage of exploration off the coast of Maine 1606, MP Minehead 1642-44.

Thomas Hanham and Elizabeth Broughton had the following children:

16 i. Penelope⁶ Hanham.

+ 17 ii. John Hanham was born c1612.

18 iii. Thomas Hanham was born 1617. Thomas died 17/06/1650 at 33 years of age. He married Margaret Dodington 28/04/1646. Margaret was the daughter of Sir William Dodington. Barrister 1645. Died without issue.

19 iv. Jane Hanham was born 1618. Jane died 1654 at 36 years of age. She married William Constantine 1637.
