17. John⁶ Hanham (Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, John³, Richard², William¹) was born c1612. John died c1661 at 49 years of age. His body was interred 9/12/1661.

He married Frances Dodington 1640. Frances was the daughter of Sir William Dodington. Frances died c1659. Her body was interred 28/09/1659.

Of Dean’s Court, Wimborne, Dorset.

John Hanham and Frances Dodington had the following children:

21 ii. James Hanham. James died c1658. His body was interred 1/06/1658.

22 iii. Thomas Hanham. Thomas died c1656. His body was interred 27/12/1656.

23 iv. Mary Hanham. Mary died c1688. She married Robert Grove 1661. i0 Of Ferne, Wiltshire.

24 v. Margaret Hanham. Margaret died c1654. Her body was interred 29/10/1654.

25 vi. John Hanham was born c1646. John died 1670 at 24 years of age. He was baptized 10/11/1646. Died unmarried.

26 vii. Edward Hanham was born c1648. He was baptized 23/11/1648.

27 viii. Richard Hanham was born c1649. He was baptized 27/12/1649.

28 ix. Frances Hanham was born in Wimborne, Dorset c1651. She married Thomas Penruddock in St. Peter-le-Poer, Holborn, 09/07/1672. Thomas was born circa 1640. Thomas was the son of Colonel John Penruddock and Arundell Freke. (See Thomas Penruddock for the continuation of this line.)

According to Burke's Peerage and Baronetage, Frances was bapt 25 Nov 1647. According to London Marriage Licences, Frances was 21 when she married which make her birthdate c1651. Maybe they meant over 21.
