3. John³ Howard Duke of Norfolk (Sir Robert², Sir John¹) was born c1425. John died 1485 in Battle of Bosworth Field, Leicestershire, at 60 years of age.

He married twice. He married Catherine Moleyns c1441. Catherine was the daughter of William Moleyns Lord Moleyns and Margery Whalesborough. Catherine died 3/11/1465. He married Margaret Chedworth January 1467. Margaret was the daughter of Sir John Chedworth.

Slain at Bosworth.

John Howard Duke of Norfolk and Catherine Moleyns had the following children:

4 i. Lady Margaret⁴ Howard. She married Sir John Wyndham. John was the son of John Wyndham and Margeret Clifton. John died 6/05/1503 in London. John was beheaded 6/05/1503 in London. (See Sir John Wyndham for the continuation of this line.)

5 ii. Nicholas Howard. Nicholas died c1468.

6 iii. Isabel Howard. She married Sir Robert Mortimer.

7 iv. Anne Howard. She married Sir Edmund Gorges.

8 v. Jane Howard. She married John Tymperley.

+ 9 vi. Thomas Howard Earl of Surrey was born 1443.

John Howard Duke of Norfolk and Margaret Chedworth had the following child:

10 vii. Catherine Howard. She married John Bourchier Lord Berners.
