31. Thomas⁵ Holmes 1st Baron Holmes of Kilmallock (Colonel Henry⁴, Colonel Thomas³, Henry², Robert¹) was born in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight 1699. Thomas died July 1764 at 64 years of age. His body was interred 21/07/1764 in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight.

He married twice. He married Catherine Leigh. Catherine died 04/03/1784. Her body was interred 14/03/1784. Catherine's will was probated April 1784. He married Anne Player 1727. Anne was born 5/02/1695. Anne was the daughter of Henry Player. Anne died September 1743 at 48 years of age. Her body was interred 29/09/1743 in Alverstoke, Hampshire.

He was baptized in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, 2/11/1699. He made a will 03/01/1760. Thomas's will was probated October 1764. MP for Newtown, Isle of Wight 1734 - 41, and for Yarmouth 1747 - 64. He was created Lord Holmes, Baron of Kilmallock in the Kingdom of Ireland 11/09/1760. The peerage became extinct when he died in 1764. A natural daughter named Mary Alcock is mentioned in his will.

53 i. Henry⁶ Holmes was born 1746. Henry died 11/06/1751 in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, at 4 years of age. His body was interred 14/06/1751 in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. He was baptized in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, 26/07/1746.
