2 i. Elizabeth² Gerard was born c1682. Elizabeth died 1744 at 62 years of age. She married James Hamilton 4th Duke of Hamilton in Bushy Park, 17/07/1698. James was born in Hamilton Palace, Larnarkshire 11/04/1658. James was the son of William Douglas 3rd Duke of Hamilton and Anne Hamilton 3rd Duchess of Hamilton. James died 15/11/1712 in Hyde Park, London, at 54 years of age. His body was interred 1712 in Hamilton Parish Church. He was baptized 11/04/1658. Religion: religion unknown.
