3 i. Harriet³ Fane was born 10/09/1793. Harriet died 2/08/1834 in Woodford Lodge, Northamptonshire, at 40 years of age. She married Right Honorable Charles Arbuthnot 31/01/1814. Charles was born 14/03/1767. Charles was the son of John Arbuthnot and Anne Stone. Charles died 18/08/1850 in Apsley House, London, at 83 years of age. His body was interred 1850 in Kensal Green Cemetary, London.

She was baptized in Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, 2/11/1793. Religion: religion unknown. Diarist. Her valuable political diary was secreted in her room until her death, then kept at Apsley House; it was not published until 1950, when it appeared in two volumes as The Journal of Mrs Arbuthnot. Married life spent at Woodford Lodge, Northamptonshire. Died of Cholera.
