5. David² Forrest (William¹) was born in West Calder 17/11/1723. David died 25/01/1776 in prob. Inverkeithing, Fifeshire, at 52 years of age.

He married Christian Craich 19/02/1757. Christian was born 18/08/1734. Christian died before January 1776 in prob. Inverkeithing, Fifeshire.

David Forrest and Christian Craich had the following children:

6 i. John³ Forrest was born 1758. John died before 1761.

7 ii. Elizabeth Forrest was born January 1760. She married James Wallace in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian, 24/12/1784. James was born 1755.

+ 8 iii. John Forrest was born 3/11/1761.

9 iv. David Forrest was born November 1762. David died before 1771.

10 v. Alexander Forrest was born July 1768.

11 vi. David Forrest was born February 1771.
