23. William¹² Graham (Archibald¹¹, William¹⁰, Walter⁹, William⁸, Walter⁷, John⁶, Walter⁵, Sir John⁴, Malise³, Patrick², Sir Patrick¹) was born 1714. William died 1764 at 50 years of age.

He married Helen Crawford. Helen was born 1713. Helen was the daughter of William Crawford and Mary Govan. Helen died 1769 at 56 years of age.

William Graham and Helen Crawford had the following children:

32 i. Archibald¹³ Graham was born 1742. Archibald died 1747 at 5 years of age.

33 ii. Mary Graham was born 1744. Mary died 1745 at 1 year of age.

34 iii. Marion Graham was born 1746. Marion died 1824 at 78 years of age. She married John Hay. Died without issue.

35 iv. William Graham was born 1748. Died abroad, unmarried.

36 v. Christian Graham was born 1749. Died unmarried.

37 vi. Helen Graham was born 1756. Helen died 1812 at 56 years of age. She married Thomas Buchanan 28/11/1774. Thomas was born 1732. Thomas was the son of John Buchanan and Mary Crawford. Thomas died 1789 at 57 years of age. (See Thomas Buchanan for the continuation of this line.)

Helen signed a marriage settlement with an unknown person 25/11/1774. Given to Strathclyde Archive in 1983.

38 vii. Archibald Graham was born 1782. Archibald died 1782 at less than one year of age.
