11. Robert⁶ Elphinstone (Alexander⁵, Alexander⁴, Sir John³, James², Sir Henry¹) was born 1530. Robert died 18/05/1602 at 71 years of age.

He married Margaret Drummond.

Robert Elphinstone and Margaret Drummond had the following children:

+ 13 i. Alexander⁷ Elphinstone was born 28/05/1552.

+ 14 ii. James Elphinstone 1st Lord Balmerino was born 19/08/1557.
