5. Thomas³ Foley (Richard², Richard¹) was born in Whitley Court, Worcestershire 3/12/1617. Thomas died 1/10/1677 at 60 years of age. His body was interred 1677 in Whitley.

He married Anne Browne. Anne was born c1619. Anne was the daughter of John Browne.

of Witley Court, Worcestershire. By 1675 he had acquired ninety-seven leases and partnerships, expanding into the Forest of Dean. By 1670 the Foley family had under it's control mines, woodlands, furnaces, forges, slitting mills, a wire works and warehouses. MP 1659-60.

Thomas Foley and Anne Browne had the following children:

+ 10 i. Thomas⁴ Foley was born c1641.

+ 11 ii. Paul Foley was born 1645.

12 iii. Nathaniel Foley was born 1647. Nathaniel died 1663 at 16 years of age.

13 iv. Philip Foley was born 1648. Philip died 1716 at 68 years of age. He married Penelope Paget 1670. Penelope was the daughter of William Paget.

He was baptized in St. Peter-le-Poer, Holborn, 12/05/1648. Religion: religion unknown. Had two sons and five daughters.
