21. Thomas⁵ Foley 1st Baron Foley of Kidderminster (Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Richard², Richard¹) was born 8/11/1673. Thomas died 22/01/1733 in Hanover Square, London, at 59 years of age.

He married Mary Strode 18/06/1702. Mary was born 1671. Mary was the daughter of Thomas Strode. Mary died October 1735 at 64 years of age.

Thomas was created Baron 1/01/1712. MP for Stafford from 1694 until 1712. One of twelve new peers created by Robert Harley, his brother-in-law, in 1712.

Thomas Foley 1st Baron Foley of Kidderminster and Mary Strode had the following children:

23 i. Thomas⁶ Foley 2nd Baron Foley. Thomas died 8/01/1766. Thomas Foley died unmarried when the Barony expired but the estates passed to his cousin Thomas, who was created, in 1776, 1st Baron Foley of Kidderminster.

24 ii. Elizabeth Foley.
