First Generation

1. Edmund John1 Glynn was born c1763. Edmund died 1840 at 77 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Meux Worsley 09/11/1790. Elizabeth was born 1771. Elizabeth was the daughter of Edward Meux Worsley and Elizabeth Crow. Elizabeth died 1797 at 25 years of age. Her body was interred 26/06/1797.

Last of Glynn, Lord of the Manor of Lesnewth and Patron of the Living, High Sheriff of Cornwall 1799, and Maj of the Cornish Miners. Rebuilt Glynn 1805, but the interior was destroyed by fire 26 Nov 1819.

Edmund John Glynn and Elizabeth Meux Worsley had the following children:

child 2 i. Gertrude Rose2 Glynn.

child 3 ii. Elizabeth Anne Glynn was born 1795. Elizabeth died 13/09/1828 at 33 years of age. She married Henry William Petre 17/07/1818. i0 Of Dunkenhalgh.

She was baptized 17/06/1795.

child 4 iii. Frances Mary Glynn was born in Glynn House, Cardinham, Cornwall 1795. She married Charles Prideaux-Brune. Charles was born in Bath, Somerset c1799. Charles died 1875 in St. George's Hanover Square, at 76 years of age. He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Charles Street, St. Georges Hanover Squre, London. He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in 12 Berkeley Square, London. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in 20 Charles Street, St Georges Hanover Square, London. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 20 Charles Street, St Georges Hanover Square, London. (See Charles Prideaux-Brune for the continuation of this line.)
