48. Laurence⁹ Pleydell Bouverie (Reverend Frederick⁸, Jacob⁷, William⁶ de Bouverie, Jacob⁵, William⁴ des Bouverie, Sir Edward³ des Bouveries, Edward², Laurens¹) was born in Wiltshire 5/08/1817. Laurence died 14/03/1887 at 69 years of age.

He married Harriet Rivers. Harriet was the daughter of Reverend Sir Henry Rivers.

He was listed as a resident in the census report in The Rectory, Pewsey, Wiltshire, 1841. Also found birthdate c 1818. (Oxford Alumni). Exeter College, Oxford, matriculated 3 February 1836; Lieutenant Colonel 78th Highlanders.

Laurence Pleydell Bouverie and Harriet Rivers had the following children:

+ 84 ii. Laurence Henry Pleydell Bouverie was born 14/09/1848.

85 iii. Charles William Pleydell Bouverie was born 29/12/1850. Charles died 16/02/1921 in Dirleton Lodge, Winchester, at 70 years of age. He married Isabella Jane Robertson 2/04/1879. Isabella was the daughter of Thomas Robertson. Captain, R.N.

86 iv. Henry Rivers Pleydell Bouverie was born 15/09/1854.
