18. Richard¹⁴ Worsley (Sir James¹³, Hugh¹² Workesley, Ralph¹¹ de Workesley, Sir Geoffrey¹⁰, Jordan⁹, Richard⁸, Henry⁷, Richard⁶, Geoffrey⁵, Richard⁴, Roger³, Richard², Sir Elias¹) was born c1530. Richard died 12/05/1565 at 35 years of age. His body was interred December 1565 in Godshill Church.

He married Ursula St Barbe. Ursula was the daughter of John St Barbe. Ursula died 1567. Her body was interred 1567 in Ashington, Somerset. Governor of the Isle of Wight.

Richard Worsley and Ursula St Barbe had the following children:

20 i. John¹⁵ Worsley. John died 6/09/1567. Blown up with his brother by gunpowder at Appuldurcombe in 1567. Apparently died in infancy.

21 ii. George Worsley. George died 6/09/1567. Blown up with his brother by gunpowder at Appuldurcombe in 1567. Apparently died in infancy.

Richard Worsley had the following child:

22 iii. Thomas Worsley. Illegitimate.
