Edward Meux²¹ Worsley (Sir Edward²⁰, Edward¹⁹, John¹⁸, Sir Edward¹⁷, John¹⁶, Thomas¹⁵, John¹⁴, Sir James¹³, Hugh¹² Workesley, Ralph¹¹ de Workesley, Sir Geoffrey¹⁰, Jordan⁹, Richard⁸, Henry⁷, Richard⁶, Geoffrey⁵, Richard⁴, Roger³, Richard², Sir Elias¹) was born in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight 1747. Edward died 31/07/1782 at 34 years of age.

He married twice. He married Elizabeth Crow 22/08/1768. Elizabeth died 1771. of Alvington.

He married Elizabeth Troughear Holmes 13/08/1772. Elizabeth was born 31/01/1759. Elizabeth was the daughter of Reverend Leonard Troughear and Elizabeth Tyrrell. Elizabeth died 20/01/1832 in Newport, Isle of Wight, at 72 years of age. Widow of Edward Meux Worsley of Gatcombe.

128 ii. Jane Meux Worsley was born 1774. Jane died 1820 at 46 years of age. She married Colonel Alexander Campbell in Cardynham, Cornwall, 30/06/1795. Alexander was born 1766. Alexander was the son of Patrick Campbell and Lilias McFarlane. Alexander died 1844 at 78 years of age. (See Colonel Alexander Campbell for the continuation of this line.)

129 iii. William Meux Worsley was born 1776. William died 1783 at 7 years of age.

Edward Meux Worsley and Elizabeth Crow had the following child:

130 iv. Elizabeth Meux Worsley was born 1771. Elizabeth died 1797 at 25 years of age. Her body was interred 26/06/1797. She married Edmund John Glynn 09/11/1790. Edmund was born c1763. Edmund died 1840 at 77 years of age. (See Edmund John Glynn for the continuation of this line.)
