Edward5 de Bouverie 2nd Baronet was born c1690. Edward died 21/11/1736 at
46 years of age. He married Mary Smith 07/07/1718. Mary was the daughter of John Smith. Died
without issue.
4. William4 des Bouverie 1st Baronet (Sir Edward3 des Bouveries, Edward2, Laurens1) was born 26/09/1656. William died 19/05/1717 at 60 years of age. His body was interred 1717 in St. Catherine Cree Church, London.
He married twice. He married Mary Edwards 12/09/1682. Mary was the daughter of James Edwards. Had no surviving issue.
He married Anne Urry in St. Catherine Cree Church, London, 29/04/1686. Anne was born circa 1666. Anne was the daughter of David Urry. Anne died 5/06/1739 at 72 years of age. Of St. Catherine Creechurch, London.
William was knighted 1713. William was created a Baronet 19/02/1714. A merchant in London trading with Turkey, he acquired a great fortune. In 1707 he was appointed Governor of the Bank of England. In 1713 he was knighted and on 19 February 1714 created a Baronet. Married twice, he was father of at least thirteen children. When he died aged sixty, he was buried at St. Catherine Cree church, London. Of St. Dunstans in the East in London.
