10. William⁶ de Bouverie 1st Earl of Radnor (Jacob⁵, William⁴ des Bouverie, Sir Edward³ des Bouveries, Edward², Laurens¹) was born in Red Lion Street, London 26/02/1725. William died 28/01/1776 at 50 years of age.

He married three times. He married Harriet Pleydell 18/01/1748. Harriet was the daughter of Sir Mark Stuart Pleydell. Harriet died 29/05/1750. Marriage date also found as 14/01/1748.

He married Rebecca Alleyne in Ipsden, Oxfordshire, 5/09/1751. Rebecca was born in Barbados 11/10/1725. Rebecca was the daughter of John Alleyne and Mary Terrill. Rebecca died 4/05/1764 in Clifton, Bristol, at 38 years of age. He married Anne Hales 22/07/1765. Anne was the daughter of Sir Thomas Hales. Anne died 18/06/1795. Widow of 1st and last Lord Feversham, Baron of Downton.

William was created Earl 31/10/1765. University College, Oxford, matriculated 14 January 1743, MA 16 February 1747.

On 22 April 1737 the surname was established to be Bouverie by Act of Parliament. 1st Earl of the county of Radnor as also BARON PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE OF COLESHILL, Co Berks (both GB), with ordinary remainder to heirs male of his body. Married Harriet only daughter of Sir Mark Stuart Pleydell, 1st and last Bt, of Coleshill, Berks, who entailed his estates on his grandson, the 2nd Earl of Radnor, and other BOUVERIEs on condition that each heir should add the name PLEYDELL. Had two daughters with his third wife, Anne, but both died in infancy.

William de Bouverie 1st Earl of Radnor and Harriet Pleydell had the following child:

+ 15 i. Jacob⁷ Pleydell Bouverie 2nd Earl of Radnor was born 4/03/1750.

William de Bouverie 1st Earl of Radnor and Rebecca Alleyne had the following children:

+ 16 ii. William Henry Bouverie was born 30/10/1752.

+ 17 iii. Bartholomew Bouverie was born 29/10/1753.

18 iv. Edward Bouverie was born 20/09/1760. Edward died 30/12/1824 at 64 years of age. He married twice. He married Lady Catherine Murray 24/05/1782. Catherine died 07/07/1783. Eldest daughter of 4th Earl of Dunmore. Died without issue.

He married Arabella Ogle 20/12/1785. Arabella was the daughter of Admiral Sir Chaloner Ogle. Arabella died 29/10/1855. Married 2ndly Hon Robert Talbot on 7 October 1828. St. Alban Hall, Oxford, matriculated 7 April 1778, Corpus Christi College, Oxford BA 1781. MP for Downton 1784 - 85, 1796 - 1803. Died without issue.
