He married Elizabeth Troughear. Elizabeth was born 31/05/1736. Elizabeth was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Troughear and Elizabeth Holmes. Elizabeth died 6/03/1769 at 32 years of age.

Thomas Dickinson and Elizabeth Troughear had the following children:

2 i. Elizabeth² Dickinson was born 29/07/1760. Elizabeth died April 1793 at 32 years of age. She married John Delgarno in Newport, Isle of Wight, 27/05/1789. (Additional notes for John Delgarno⁽¹⁵⁾) John died 1818. (See John Delgarno for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Mary Dickinson was born in Hampshire 19/12/1761. She married Reverend Henry Worsley. Henry was born in Hampshire 1755. Henry was the son of Sir Edward Worsley and Elizabeth Miller. He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Gatcombe Rectory, Gatcombe, Isle of Wight. (See Reverend Henry Worsley for the continuation of this line.)

She was listed as a resident in the census report in Gatcombe Rectory, Gatcombe, Isle of Wight, 1841.

4 iii. Martha Dickinson was born 1765. She married Reverend John Davies.

She was baptized 9/10/1765.

5 iv. Margaret Dickinson was born 1768. She was baptized 18/10/1768.

6 v. Thomas Dickinson was born 1768. Thomas died 1775 at 7 years of age. His body was interred 6/12/1775. He was baptized 18/10/1768. Died without issue.
