1. John¹ Delgarno⁽⁴⁶⁾ birth date unknown. John died 1818.

He married Elizabeth Dickinson in Newport, Isle of Wight, 27/05/1789. Elizabeth was born 29/07/1760. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Dickinson and Elizabeth Troughear. Elizabeth died April 1793 at 32 years of age.

John Delgarno and Elizabeth Dickinson had the following children:

2 i. Elizabeth² Delgarno was born in Carrisbrooke, Isle of Wight 2/02/1792. She was christened in Carrisbrooke, Isle of Wight, 6/02/1792.

3 ii. Anne Redston Delgarno was born in Carrisbrooke, Isle of Wight 08/04/1793. Anne died 04/04/1857 in Newport, Isle of Wight, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred 11/04/1857 in Arreton, Isle of Wight. She married Leonard Thomas Worsley Holmes 9th Baronet in Newport, Isle of Wight, 05/06/1813. Leonard was born in Arreton, Isle of Wight 16/07/1787. Leonard was the son of Henry Worsley 8th Baronet Worsley and Elizabeth Troughear Holmes. Leonard died 10/01/1825 at 37 years of age. His body was interred January 1825 in Arreton, Isle of Wight. He was baptized 20/07/1787. (See Leonard Thomas Worsley Holmes 9th Baronet for the continuation of this line.)

She was christened in Carrisbrooke, Isle of Wight, 13/04/1793. She was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in Crocker Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. Inscription found in Arreton Church, Arreton, Isle of Wight:

To the Memory of Anne Redston Delgarno widow of Sir Leonard Worsley Holmes, Bart Born April 8th 1793 Died April 4th 1857
