4. William² Eliot 2nd Earl of St. Germans (Edward¹) was born 1/04/1767. William died 19/01/1845 at 77 years of age.

He married four times. He married Lady Georgiana Augusta Leveson-Gower 30/11/1797. Georgiana died 24/03/1806. He married Laetitia à Court in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, 13/02/1809. Laetitia was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire 9/08/1778. Laetitia was the daughter of William Peirce Ashe à Court 1st Baronet and Laetitia Wyndham. Laetitia died 20/01/1810 at 31 years of age. Her body was interred 1810 in Heytesbury, Wiltshire. She was christened in Salisbury, Wiltshire, 25/09/1778. Laetitia signed a marriage settlement with William Eliot 2nd Earl of St. Germans 07/02/1809. Memorial in family pew, Heytesbury Church:

Sacred to the memory of the Honourable Laetitia Eliot, eldest daughter of Sir WPA a Court Baronet. She died in her first childbed of twins, born dead, on the 20th January 1810, aged 31.

Let those who mourn in proportion as they once revered and loved her. Let those whose distresses have been relieved by her benevolence or soothed by her gentleness pay the best tribute to her memory by allowing her mild example of influence on their hearts and lives; Let those sometimes look at this memorial and contemplate the benefit to be derived from a lively recollection of her piety and charity in the season of prosperity and ease and of her meekness and resignation when the Almighty changed the manner of her trial and stretched her on the bed of suffering pain and death.

He married Charlotte Robinson 7/03/1812. Charlotte was the daughter of Lt-Gen John Robinson. Charlotte died 3/07/1813. He married Susan Mordaunt 30/08/1814. Susan was the daughter of Sir John Mordaunt 7th Baronet. Susan died 5/02/1830.

6 i. Susan Caroline³ Eliot. Susan died 15/01/1835. Married the 4th Earl Beauchamp on 08/07/1824.

7 ii. Charlotte Sophia Eliot. She married Reverend George Martin July 1825.

8 iii. Edward Granville Eliot was born in Plymouth, Devon 29/08/1798. Edward died 7/10/1877 in Port Eliot, St. Germans, Cornwall, at 79 years of age. He married Jemima Cornwallis 1824. Jemima was born 1803. Jemima died 1856 at 53 years of age. Educated at Westminster School and Christ Church, Oxford. MP for Liskeard in 1824.
