William Clarke had the following child:

2 i. Jane Caroline Charlotte² Clarke. She married Sir Charles George Arbuthnot 1868. Charles was born 19/05/1824. Charles was the son of Alexander Arbuthnot and Margaret Pheobe Bingham. Charles died 14/04/1899 in 14 Dynevor Gardens, Richmond, Surrey, at 74 years of age. Charles was knighted 24/05/1881. Charles retired 19/05/1891.
