3. Malcolm III³ Canmore King of Scotland (Duncan I², Crinan¹) was born c1031. Malcolm died 13/11/1093 in Alnwick, at 62 years of age.

He married Margaret Aetheling in Holy Trinity Church, Dunfermline, Scotland, 1069. Margaret was the daughter of Edward Aetheling. Margaret died 16/11/1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Scotland.

Malcolm III Canmore King of Scotland and Margaret Aetheling had the following children:

4 i. Matilda⁴ Canmore Edith of Scotland. Matilda died 1/05/1118. She married Henry I Norman King of Britain in Westminster Abbey, London, 11/11/1100. Henry was born 1068. Henry was the son of William I Norman William the Conquerer and Matilda of Flanders. Henry died 1/12/1135 at 67 years of age. (See Henry I Norman King of Britain for the continuation of this line.)

5 ii. David I Canmore King of Scotland. David died 1153.

6 iii. Edgar Canmore. Edgar died 1107.

7 iv. Alexander I Canmore King of Scotland. Alexander died 1124.
