12. Sir Hugh⁷ Hamersley (Hugh⁶, Richard⁵, Richard⁴, Rad'us³ de Homersley, Adam², Robert¹) was born 1565. Hugh died 1636 at 71 years of age.

He married Mary Derham. Mary was the daughter of Baldwin Derham. Mary died 1647.

Of London. Lord Mayor 1627.

Sir Hugh Hamersley and Mary Derham had the following children:

14 i. Sir Thomas⁸ Hamersley. Thomas was knighted 1641. Married to Elizabeth and died without issue.

15 ii. Francis Hamersley.

+ 16 iii. William Hamersley was born 1617.
