16. William⁸ Hamersley (Sir Hugh⁷, Hugh⁶, Richard⁵, Richard⁴, Rad'us³ de Homersley, Adam², Robert¹) was born 1617. William died 1676 at 59 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Cogan. Elizabeth died 1706.

Of Langford, Oxfordshire.

William Hamersley and Elizabeth Cogan had the following children:

+ 17 i. Thomas⁹ Hamersley.

+ 18 ii. Hugh Hamersley was born 1663.
