2. Samuel² Creswicke (Francis¹) was born in Bristol c1622. Samuel died 24 April 1683 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at 60 years of age.

He married Hesther Ashe 1674. Hesther was born in Stowford, Wiltshire c1635. Hesther was the daughter of John Ashe and Elizabeth Davison. Hesther died 1682 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at 47 years of age.

Samuel Creswicke and Hesther Ashe had the following children:

3 i. Elizabeth³ Creswicke was born c1655. Elizabeth died 21 June 1699 at 43 years of age. She married Penyston Hastings in Blockley, Gloucester, 3 March 1673. Penyston was born in Daylesford, Worcester c1652. (See Penyston Hastings for the continuation of this line.)

From Memories of Moreton: Elizabeth who married Penyston Hastings of Daylesford and thereby became the grandmother of Warren Hastings of India, and who was buried 21 June 1699;

4 ii. Hesther Creswicke was born in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire 21 March 1661. She married Richard Ingles. Richard was born in Stanton c1660. i0 A brother John? She was baptized in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, 25 April 1661. Religion: religion unknown.

+ 5 iii. Henry Creswicke was born 30 May 1662.

6 iv. Samuel Creswicke was born in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire 8 November 1663. Samuel died c 4 May 1674 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at 10 years of age.

7 v. John Creswicke was born in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire c 30 December 1669. John died 20 February 1670 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at less than one year of age.

8 vi. Jonathan Creswicke was born in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire c 21 December 1670. Jonathan died c 14 January 1671 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at less than one year of age.

9 vii. Ann Creswicke was born in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire c 2 June 1672. Ann died c 21 January 1674 in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, at 1 year of age. Memories of Moreton:

Ann, who never married and who lived to a ripe old age, dying only in 1757 and being buried in Moreton on 10 March in that year. [I think they got the wrong Ann, with the 1757 death being this one's neice.]
