He married Bridget Allen 1710. Bridget died 1749.
He was baptized 18/02/1675. MP 1708 - 1713 & 1715 - 1722. Died before his brother Edward's last will (1743).
William Ashe and Bridget Allen had the following children:

William Ashe was born 1715. William died 11/08/1750 at 35 years of age. His body was interred 20/08/1750 in
Heytesbury, Wiltshire. He married Catherine Paulet 4/02/1749. Catherine was the daughter of
Harry Paulet 4th Duke of Bolton. Succeeded to the estates of his uncle Edward in 1748. Died without issue.
Inscription found in Heytesbury Church:
Near this place, within the sacred Dome lies the body of William Ashe, of this parish, Esquire. A descendant of the antient Ashes of this county from whence he was a rightful a gentleman as any and from himself as complete and one coming from his fathers in all the grace of an honourable family and (greater than that) laid to them in all his own:
Who,
Tho (by a Doom appointed to all) now confuming in his sepulchre by a priviledge peculiar, to a few, triumphs over his own Dust there. In and excellency of person which shall never flee its grave. The Master a praise in his house; the man a praise in the gates, A man valued by all; a friend that couldn' be valued.
And,
As he completed and heightened every reason of regard. The Old man - such not from living a great while but from living a great deal to whose worthy memory this marble, which shall hold his name with grace and reputation and bear it to posterity in love and regard, Is, with justest and purest sentiments of Duty and Honour Erected by his mouning relict, Mistress Catherine Ashe, daughter to the Honourable Lord Harry Paulet of Edington.
