He married Jane Norton. Jane was the daughter of Richard Norton. Jane died c1610. She made a will 27/01/1587. Jane's will was probated 23/06/1610.

He made a will 21/01/1585. Edward's will was probated 27/04/1586. Of Huntworthy, Somerset.

Edward Popham and Jane Norton had the following children:

child 17 ii. Sarah Popham. She married John Courte in St. Clement's Danes, 2/03/1581. John was the son of Simon Courte. He made a will 30/12/1598. John's will was probated 28/04/1600. (See John Courte for the continuation of this line.)

She made a will 27/03/1629. Sarah's will was probated 29/06/1631.
