48. Edward¹³ Ashe (John¹², James¹¹, John¹⁰, James⁹, Nicholas⁸, John⁷, William⁶, John⁵, Baldwin⁴, Richard³ Eshe, Henry², Sir Oliver¹ D'Esse) was born c1635. Edward died 31/12/1661 at 26 years of age. His body was interred in Freshford, Somerset.

He married Mary Chappell. Mary was the daughter of Prebendary Chappell. of Freshford, Somerset. He left two daughters only one of whom grew up. According to the à Court Pedigree, Edward married Mary Odiarne als Ash, relict of Edward Ash.

Edward Ashe and Mary Chappell had the following children:

69 i. Elizabeth¹⁴ Ashe. Elizabeth died 1662. died a minor

70 ii. Mary Ashe. Mary died 1662.
