On a small blue stone, near the Reading Desk in Rodden Church:
Here lyeth the body of James à Court, merchant, who deceased the 4th Dec 1692.
In the Chancel, near the Communion Table, upon three Monument Stones:
Depositum mortale Johannis à Court de Rodden, generosi, qui Cal: Feb: anno ara Christiance MDCXCI, animam placide Deo reddidit, postquam in corpore peregrinata est an Ixxii.
Hic jacet corpus Lidia Court, nuper uxoris Johnnis Court, de Rodden generosi, quce obijt vicesimo sexto die Decembris, anno otatis suce 64, annoque Dom 1681.
Reponuntur hic exuvice Johnnis à Court, armigeri, qui excessit e vivis, 27 die Octobris 1701
