28. Sir John⁷ Wyndham (John⁶, Sir John⁵, Sir Thomas⁴, Sir John³, John², John¹) was born circa 1558. John died 1/04/1645 at 86 years of age. His body was interred in Church of St, Somerset.

He married Joan Portman. Joan was born circa 1565. Joan was the daughter of Sir Henry Portman and Jane Michell. Joan died 13/09/1633 at 68 years of age. Her body was interred in Church of St, Somerset.

30 ii. Thomas Wyndham. He married twice. He married Elizabeth Lytton. He married Elizabeth Mede. of Felbrigge, ancestor of the Felbrigge branch.

31 iii. Francis Wyndham.

32 iv. Sir George Wyndham.

33 v. George Wyndham. of Cromer, Norfolk.

34 vi. Humphrey Wyndham. of Dunraven Castle, Wales and Clower-Wall, Gloucester, ancestor of the Clower-Wall branch. This branch has taken the name of Edwin.

35 vii. Joan Wyndham. She married John Gifford. i0 Of Brightly, Devon.

36 viii. Rachel Wyndham. She married Thomas Moore. i0 of Heytesbury, Wiltshire.

37 ix. Anne Wyndham. She married Sir John Strode.

38 x. Florence Wyndham.

39 xi. Margery Wyndham.

40 xii. Margaret Wyndham.

41 xiii. Henry Wyndham was born 1583. Henry died 1613 at 30 years of age. Died unmarried.

42 xiv. Sir Hugh Wyndham was born 1602. Hugh died 27/07/1684 in Norwich, Norfolk, at 82 years of age. He married three times. He married Jane Woodhouse. Jane was the daughter of Sir George Woodhouse. He married Elizabeth Berkeley. He married Catherine Fleming. Catherine was the daughter of Thomas Fleming. Widow of Sir Edward Hooper.

Hugh was knighted 1670. of Orchard and Silton. Baron of the Exchequer. Called to the bar 16 June 1629. Judge.
