58. Edward10 Venables-Vernon (George9 Vernon, Henry8, George7, Henry6, Edward5, Walter4, Thomas3, Humphrey2, Sir Henry1)(59) was born 10/10/1757. Edward died 5/11/1847 in Bishopthorpe Palace, York, at 90 years of age. His body was interred 1847 in Stanton Harcourt Parish Church, Oxfordshire.
He married Anne Leveson-Gower in St. Martin in the Fields, Middlesex, 5/02/1784. Anne was born 1761. Anne was the daughter of Granville Leveson-Gower. Anne died 16/11/1832 in Bishopthorpe Palace, York, at 71 years of age.
Archbishop of York. In June 1830, his cousin, William Harcourt, third Earl Harcourt, died leaving him his estates so as a consequence he changed his name to Harcourt.
Edward Venables-Vernon and Anne Leveson-Gower had the following children:

Leveson Venables-Vernon. He married Caroline Mary Peachey 19/08/1815. Caroline was the
daughter of John Peachey. Took the name Harcourt in 1831 but retained Vernon. Installed as chancellor of York on 4 August, 1827.
Died without issue.
