He married Martha Harcourt. Martha⁽²⁵⁾ was the daughter of Simon Harcourt and Elizabeth Evelyn.

He was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 20/02/1709. George was created Baron 1/05/1762. Assumed in 1728 by royal licence the additional surname of Venables.

George Vernon Baron of Kinderton and Martha Harcourt had the following children:

57 i. Catherine¹⁰ Venables-Vernon was born c1750. Catherine died 1775 at 25 years of age.

+ 58 ii. Edward Venables-Vernon was born 10/10/1757.
