29. George⁷ Vernon (Henry⁶, Edward⁵, Walter⁴, Thomas³, Humphrey², Sir Henry¹) was born 1635. George died 13/07/1702 at 67 years of age. His body was interred 1702.

He married three times. He married Dorothy Shirley. Dorothy was the daughter of Sir Robert Shirley. He married Catherine Vernon. Catherine was born 1663. Catherine was the daughter of Sir Thomas Vernon and Anne Weston. Catherine died 21/10/1710 at 46 years of age. Her body was interred 1710 in Sudbury. He married Margaret Onely. Margaret was the daughter of Edwin Onely.

George Vernon and Dorothy Shirley had the following child:

35 i. Dorothy⁸ Vernon. Dorothy died 9/12/1709. She married George Vernon Sudbury, Derbyshire, 2/02/1708. George was born c1674. George was the son of Sir Thomas Vernon and Anne Weston. George died 24/09/1736 at 62 years of age. His body was interred 1736. (See George Vernon for the continuation of this line.)

Died of smallpox, nine days after giving birth.

George Vernon and Catherine Vernon had the following children:

36 ii. Anna-Catherina Vernon was born 1682. She was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 20/09/1682.

37 iii. Thomas Vernon was born 1683. He was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 15/01/1683.

+ 38 iv. Henry Vernon was born April 1686.

39 v. Matilda Vernon was born 1688. She was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 21/10/1688.

40 vi. Judith Vernon was born 1690. She was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 8/02/1690.
